Handloom Cotton Ikat
This garment has been woven on a handloom and due to the nature of this process this jacket may contain small imperfections in the fabric, giving each garment a unique character.
One of the oldest forms of textile patterning, the Japanese dying technique Kasuri, also known as Ikat (Indonesian for 'to bind' or 'tie')), is a resist dyeing method - the yarn is bound in bundles before applying dye, preventing colour running into certain areas and once woven into cloth, results in a recognisable ikat pattern.
- Four front pockets with press snap closures
- Half placket button opening
- Recycled polyester buttons throughout
- Adjustable drawstring hood with rear cinch
- Adjustable hem with drawcord
- Maharishi camo / 3M reflective side seam tab
